More people are finding themselves disadvantaged due to disability or age.  Some merely wish to plan for a long-term future together with their partners. By adapting their homes they remain independent for longer using support networks such as friends, relatives, neighbours and carers.

We aim to target those in need by liaising with local authorities, voluntary and private sector organisations.

We provide a caring, professional and efficient service to assist our clients through the process of repairing, improving and adapting their property. Our Disability Design Consultant has over 20 years of experience, not only as a Consultant, but also as a carer himself. He understands and is sympathetic to the demands, requirements and practical issues that present themselves.

Our objective is to enable older or disabled home owners to continue living safely and independently in their own homes reducing health related problems from poor housing conditions.

This is achieved by working closely with your local Environmental Health/Housing Departments, Housing Associations, Home Improvement Agencies, Social Services, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and of course, You! We never undervalue You, the client, within this process.

Adaptations include Level Access Showers, Ramps, Step lifts, Stair lifts, Through-Floor Lifts, Extensions to provide Bedrooms, Shower Rooms, Dialysis Rooms etc.

We will arrange home visits to discuss your individual requirements, provide technical support, schedules of works and building plans as necessary.

We have many years of expertise in this field to interpret your suggestions and requirements to make your ideas a reality. With imagination, design skill and technical ability, we make the most out of the space available using practical, economic materials and ideas to create a building to satisfy your requirements and meet your long-term needs.

From only trusted contractors, we obtain competitive quotations, oversee all building works on site, deal with all payments during/on completion of work, discuss finance and options for obtaining finance.

Whilst we specialise in the adaptation of properties under disabled facilities grants (DFG) we also prepare, submit, tender and supervise construction of new build housing, extensions and alterations for the private market.

It is important to note that many of our clients are entitled to grant aid through the local authority, and in such cases our fee is frequently included as part of the grant.
